The Hamilton Type Museum – Day 2 & 3 – 28th & 29th September

The last few days has been swept by in a flurry of wood type, lead and ink. Jumping straight into a project I have been setting some information graphics for the Museums Letterpress Workshops. The piece is about A1 in size and has taken a day to set, a day to proof and a day to print and clean. Below is a sneak peak to give you an idea of the size that I’m working to, I’ll have a video up of the making of this piece at the start of next week as well as some shots of the final print.

The amount of skills that I have learnt or refined during this project are huge, it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to print somewhere with such a full collection of both type and the furniture needed to lock it all into place!
